B2B E-Mobility Business Development Manager
Exciting new role to drive adoption of EV chargers, aftercare and servicing for businesses and destinations across the UK with strong existing pipeline and industry leading support.
We are looking for a motivated, experienced and knowledgeable B2B E-Mobility Business Development Manager to join and grow our E-Mobility team, one of the technical “centres of excellence” as part of the wider and unique SaveMoneyCutCarbon offering - helping businesses reduce their energy, water and carbon from a single online order, through to the delivery of multi-million pound projects.
Our E-Mobility team already have in place a distribution and solution partnership with ABB, one of the world’s largest and most respected charger manufacturers who have over 66K DC chargers connected. In parallel, our team has created an end to end solution from initial consultation, system design, financing options, through to installation and aftercare support / service.
This has seen us quickly develop a multi-million pound pipeline which is now ready for the right individual to join to lead on sales - an individual that knows the market, has a track record of doing not talking, who can hit the ground running. You must have a proven track record of quickly building trust with existing and new client relationships. Using this skillset you will be working to improve the close rate of the existing pipeline, as well as materially growing new opportunities to drive the revenue of this business unit. You must be able to demonstrate your track record of identifying new business opportunities, quickly creating “go to market” execution plans, then developing client relationships, and delivering customized EV charging solutions to commercial, industrial, destination and public sector markets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Grow the sales & service revenue for our E-Mobility business unit.
- Continue to build on our partnership with ABB within the DC & AC marketplace to achieve their sales targets and goals.
- Develop and execute a sales & go to market plan for matching the ABB DC range to suitable markets including public sector, industrial, hospitality and other destination market opportunities.
- Develop and execute a sales and go to market plan, promote and sell our post installation service & support package Charge-Care, for our own installations but also other units.
- Identify and pursue new B2B customers including hotels, fleet operators, commercial facilities and distribution networks.
- Conduct client needs assessments and, working with our electrical specification team, propose tailored EV charging solutions, including hardware, software, and installation services.
- Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation to contract closure, including pricing, proposals, and follow-up.
- Ensure the CRM system (HubSpot) is kept up to date and forecasts are accurate.
- Collaborate with technical and operations teams to ensure successful installation and post-sale support.
- Stay informed about market trends, product innovations, government incentives, and competitors.
- Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and customer meetings.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and pipeline.
Qualifications:
- 2–5 years of sales experience, ideally in electrical, automotive, energy, or EV-related industries.
- Familiarity with EV charging infrastructure, technologies, and market drivers.
- Strong customer relationship and account management skills.
- Self-starter with excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
- Technical aptitude and ability to understand product specifications and installation requirements.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as required.
- Be able to demonstrate good commercial acumen to build solid business cases technically and economic.
- Demonstrate that you can bring a genuine level of professionalism and integrity in a market level that has a reputation for mis-selling, poor and unsupported products making the transition to electric vehicles more challenging for end users.
- Thrive in face to face customer meetings, rather than email or video calls.

Location: The ideal candidate will live in the East Anglia / Midlands area however, hybrid working would be acceptable in this role.
